Useful Betting Tips

If you are thinking of placing some money on a sport in the near future, then I would recommend either putting money on horse racing or football. I am more of a man for betting on the latter but if you have got good knowledge of horses then obviously this is where you should lay your bets. Kempton odds are always worth keeping an eye on while an Ascot bet is a good idea if you have a good tip that validates a flutter.

With regards to football, the expertise that I can offer is with regards to the Premier League. If you are trying to back a winner for the league over the whole season then I wouldn’t bother looking further than Manchester. Manchester United are reigning champions and the purchase of Ashley Young and Phil Jones has further strengthened Sir Alex Ferguson’s young and dynamic squad. They are also still in the process of trying to sign Wesley Sneijder from Inter Milan and if they are successful in completing the deal then they will have a wealth of riches in the attacking third that might mean that they can finally challenge Barcelona for the crown of best team in the world. With the retirement of Paul Scholes at the end of last season they lost one of the greatest passers in the modern game, but then the emergence of Tom Cleverley from their youth ranks means that they might not need Sneijder anyway if Cleverley continues to improve at the rate that he has been doing so far.

Manchester City look like the only other team in the Premiership that have the strength in depth of squad to really challenge Manchester United for the crown. The signing Sergio Aguero was a masterstroke by Roberto Mancini and if he can also persuade Carlos Tevez to stay at the club – as is looking increasingly likely – then they will have a wealth of striking options to worry any team in Europe.
