The History Of Super Bowl

For those of you who have always wondered what the Super Bowl is all about, but have somehow remained ignorant about it, You Are Missing Out like me, as I have discovered.

We may have the FA cup and even the Champions League, but there is nothing like the Sooooper Bowl! Even the name ought to be an indication to all of us just how big it is and just how well Americans know how to do things on a grand scale.

Yes it is true that both games generate a lot of money. In fact the champions league is viewed by more people. ...It is also true that America is not just a country but a massive continent, but one could argue that it is somewhat more homogeneous in outlook than Europe with her many cultures, history and an distinct voices. More should therefore be expected from Europe, but the Champions League which is perhaps the closest equivalent, lacks all the razzmatazz and shear overindulgence Americans manage to do with so much more fun and less cynicism the Champions League can generate.

You don't have to follow any of the teams, or even want to understand the game; for the neutral supporter, experiencing a Super Bowl will be an altogether more of a fun family outing than the Champions League outing for the, guaranteed.

The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League. It is the most important
game for all top professional American football players in the United States. The day on which it is is played is for all intention and purposes a national holiday and it is called Super Bowl Sunday - just to give you an idea of just how much fun and feasting is involved on the day. It is the second largest day for US food consumption, after Thanksgiving Day!

Pound for pound, I do not think there are too many other countries that can compete with the United States of America when comes to combining partying and feasting.... It is definitely worth trying to get a ticket for the next one. You can crank up the excitement for yourself by throwing in a couple of bets to on the game. Try super bowl betting odds or NBA odds. Who knows... You might even be able to afford a short visit to Las Vegas afterwards with your winnings.
